We offer 5 placements (4 x 12-month and ONE innovative post with a 13-week placement in a local GP Practice).

Our trainee pharmacists are seen as integral members of the team and are supported by highly skilled pre-registration tutors and pre-registration managers throughout the year.

The Pharmacy department
With a staff of over 150 people, we are a core part of the hospital structure and an integral part of the ward team. Our department covers different areas: In-patient and Out-patient Dispensary, Technical Services Unit, Medicines Information, Stores & Distribution and Clinical Ward Pharmacy.

The Lister is a 730-bed district general hospital in Stevenage providing emergency and inpatient care for east and north Hertfordshire and south Bedfordshire, a community of around 500,000 people. Our regional cancer centre, Mount Vernon Hospital, supports around 2 million people.
Lister has specialist sub-regional services in urology and renal dialysis.
Stevenage lies 33 miles north of central London, approximately 25 minutes by train or easily accessible via the A1 motorway.
